Optimus KNX Touch Sensor 4-Gang / 8 Buttons with Thermostat

The Optimus KNX touch sensor replaces a mechanical switch with a flat glass surface. You assign every one of the 8 buttons in ETS, so the same panel can switch lights, run scenes, drive blinds or set a fan speed.

This version adds a room thermostat. The display shows the current temperature and the setpoint, and you adjust it straight from the panel.

Compatibility

• Bus system: KNX twisted pair, to EN 50090 and ISO/IEC 14543-3.
• Configuration: ETS 5 or ETS 6. The manufacturer publishes the product database free of charge.
• Interoperable with KNX-certified devices from any manufacturer. ABB, Schneider, Siemens, Gira, Jung and Theben all sit on the same bus, so this unit works inside a mixed-brand installation.
• Bus supply: 21-30 V DC from a standard KNX power supply.
• Room temperature control: the setpoint and the measured value travel over the bus to KNX valve, fan-coil or underfloor heating actuators. No proprietary cabling.
• Not compatible with Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi-only or Matter-only devices unless a KNX gateway is added.
