Optimus KNX DALI Gateway 2 Channel
This gateway connects KNX to DALI. It has two independent DALI channels that support up to 128 drivers in total. You can switch, dim and run scenes, plus control Tunable White, colour and emergency lighting, all from the KNX line. It also provides an internal DALI bus supply, so no separate power supply is needed. An on-board LCD lets you commission it directly at the board. It is DIN rail mounted and DALI-2 compliant.
KNX to DALI in one DIN-rail device
The Optimus OPT-DGx-111 links a DALI lighting installation to a KNX system through a single gateway. As a result, you can run switching, dimming, scene recall, Tunable White, colour control and emergency lighting management straight from the KNX line, so you don’t need a separate DALI controller.
Channels and driver capacity
Each DALI line carries up to 64 drivers. The single-channel OPT-DG1-111 supports 64 drivers, while the dual-channel OPT-DG2-111 supports 128 across two independent lines. It also includes an internal DALI bus supply, so you don’t need an external DALI power supply, which in turn saves a module in the board.

Commissioning from the front of the board
A 2×8 character LCD with Setup, Test, Info and Language menus sits on the face of the unit. So, you can handle addressing, group assignment and fault diagnosis at the distribution board without a laptop. It also meets the DALI EN 62386 / DALI-2 and KNX standards.
