KNX to DALI in one DIN-rail device

The Optimus OPT-DGx-111 links a DALI lighting installation to a KNX system through a single gateway. Switching, dimming, scene recall, Tunable White, colour control and emergency lighting management are all driven straight from the KNX line, so a separate DALI controller is not required.

Channels and driver capacity

Each DALI line carries up to 64 drivers. The single-channel OPT-DG1-111 supports 64 drivers; the dual-channel OPT-DG2-111 supports 128 across two independent lines. An internal DALI bus supply is built in, which removes the need for an external DALI power supply and saves a module in the board.

• DT8 Tunable White and full colour control
• Broadcast, group, individual and scene control on every DALI line

Commissioning from the front of the board

A 2×8 character LCD with Setup, Test, Info and Language menus sits on the face of the unit, so addressing, group assignment and fault diagnosis can be done at the distribution board without a laptop. Compliant with DALI EN 62386 / DALI-2 and the KNX standard.
