ABB Tenton KNX Room Controller 10-fold (RTC master) — SBR/U10.0.1

The ABB Tenton is a 3-in-1 KNX device: a room temperature controller combined with built-in temperature, humidity and CO2 (air-quality) sensors, plus 10 pushbutton operating points. It measures the indoor climate and controls heating, ventilation and fan-coil actuators — all from one flush-mounted control element with an integrated bus coupler and labelling field.

Room temperature control (master)

This is the master unit: it runs the room temperature controller logic and drives the HVAC/fan-coil actuators. Fan stages can be switched manually or in automatic mode, with base-load operation supported.

Push functions & colour concept

Available in Studio White, Aluminium Silver, Studio White Matt and Black Matt. Flush mounting into a European round or UK square box (with adapter).

Compatibility

• Bus system: KNX twisted pair, to EN 50090 and ISO/IEC 14543-3.
• Configuration: ETS 5 or ETS 6. The manufacturer publishes the product database free of charge.
• Interoperable with KNX-certified devices from any manufacturer. ABB, Schneider, Siemens, Gira, Jung and Theben all sit on the same bus, so this unit works inside a mixed-brand installation.
• Bus supply: 21-30 V DC from a standard KNX power supply.
• Room temperature control: the setpoint and the measured value travel over the bus to KNX valve, fan-coil or underfloor heating actuators. No proprietary cabling.
• Not compatible with Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi-only or Matter-only devices unless a KNX gateway is added.
