ABB 6-fold Tenton slave room controller — SBS/U6.0.1

The ABB 6-fold Tenton slave room controller is the companion unit to a Tenton master in the same room. It gives a second, fully featured operating point — six pushbuttons plus the built-in temperature, humidity and CO2 sensors — while the master keeps ownership of the heating, ventilation and fan-coil control logic. This makes it ideal for larger rooms and suites that need a control point at two doors.

What the 6-fold Tenton slave adds

Because the 6-fold Tenton slave mirrors the master rather than duplicating its logic, both plates always show the same setpoint, mode and room readings. Residents can adjust temperature or recall a scene from either position and the system stays in sync. The slave measures the indoor climate too, so placement is flexible.

Colour concept and finishes

Tenton’s colour concept (yellow = lighting, blue = blind, orange = room temperature, magenta = scene, white = neutral) makes each button readable at a glance. Available in Studio White, Aluminium Silver, Studio White Matt and Black Matt, with flush mounting into a European round or UK square box. It pairs with the 6-fold Tenton master (SBR/U6.0.1).

A typical layout places the Tenton master by the main door and the 6-fold Tenton slave by the bed or a second entrance, so the room can be controlled from either side without walking across it. Because the slave shares the master’s schedule, comfort and eco modes, guests and residents get a consistent experience wherever they stand. In hospitality and residential projects this two-point setup is the most common reason integrators specify a slave alongside every master.

Compatibility

• Bus system: KNX twisted pair, to EN 50090 and ISO/IEC 14543-3.
• Configuration: ETS 5 or ETS 6. The manufacturer publishes the product database free of charge.
