The Optimus EDGE Automation switch series brings a frameless, modular KNX switch sensor to any wall. This model measures 80 x 120 mm and carries three rows of two square buttons. So you get 12 functions across 6 gangs.

Each button can switch, dim, drive blinds, call scenes, send values or run logic. An RGB status LED gives feedback at a glance, and you can customise the icons too. Choose from white, silver, anthracite and black plastic, or stainless steel with a black matte base.

Compatibility and Installation

You configure this switch sensor in ETS5 or newer. It runs over the standard KNX twisted-pair bus, to EN 50090 and ISO/IEC 14543-3. As a result, it works alongside ABB, Schneider, Siemens, Gira, Jung and Theben devices on the same installation. It mounts on a standard flush box and draws power straight from the bus line. So you need no extra transformer or power supply, which keeps wiring simple and cuts the parts an installer must stock.
