The Eclipse KNX room controller is designed to be the most complete touch panel for a single room: one digital control surface, equipped with five sensors, that replaces the thermostat, the scene keypad and the air-quality display. Its HD screen and premium finishes sit only 11 mm off the wall, so it disappears into the room rather than dominating it.

The Eclipse KNX room controller as a thermostat

Eclipse controls HVAC directly through built-in thermostat logic, an internal temperature sensor and a humidity sensor. Heating, cooling or combined heating & cooling modes are supported, with 2-point, switching PI (PWM) or continuous PI control, four operating modes (Comfort, Standby, Night, Protection), window-contact logic, fan-stage control and an additional heating/cooling stage.

Air quality you can act on

An integrated CO2 sensor measures air quality in the room and displays it on the main page or a dedicated air-quality page. Configurable thresholds classify air as excellent, average or poor, and a KNX object can trigger ventilation or alarms automatically when the poor threshold is crossed.

Adaptive display and proximity wake-up

The ambient-light sensor adjusts backlight brightness automatically, while the proximity sensor wakes the display as a user approaches — bright when needed, discreet in a dark bedroom.

Compatibility

• Bus system: KNX twisted pair, to EN 50090 and ISO/IEC 14543-3.
• Configuration: ETS 5 or ETS 6. The manufacturer publishes the product database free of charge.
