When a room has many circuits to control, this is the plate that keeps the wall clean. This Optimus KNX switch sensor provides 8 buttons and up to 16 functions in a single frameless Black Matte unit, replacing what would otherwise be two or three separate switch plates.

Built for the main rooms

Living rooms, master bedrooms and hotel suites typically need lighting circuits, blinds, and at least two or three scenes within reach of the door. With 8 buttons on one plate, each with an RGB status LED and a customisable icon, the occupant can read the state of the room at a glance. For smaller rooms, the 4-button EDGE model uses the same design language.

Ergonomics that carry across the range

Square buttons operate up/down and rectangular buttons operate left/right, so the physical shape tells the user what the button does. The EDGE series runs from 1 to 8 buttons in White, Black Matte, Silver and Anthracite, in plastic and metal versions — one design language across an entire project.

Installation and commissioning

The device is powered directly from the KNX bus, with no auxiliary supply, and is configured in ETS. The range is certified by the KNX Association, and Optimus is one of the few manufacturers with its own KNX stack.
