The Unica KNX Push Button 2-Key is the compact member of the Schneider KNX range that Infinitex supplies across the Emirates. Two rockers sit on a single wall plate and talk straight to the KNX bus. Therefore one neat switch can toggle a lighting group, drive a blind, step the room setpoint or call a scene. ETS decides what each key does, so your team can change the logic later without pulling a single new cable.

Typical applications

Two keys cover the jobs that need one clear decision. Bedrooms get the main light and the curtain. Corridors and staircases get on and off at each end. Hotel rooms get the entrance light and the do-not-disturb scene. Meeting rooms get the projector scene and the blackout blind. Because the plate stays small, it also fits the tight space beside a door frame or a headboard where a wider unit will not sit.

Many installers place a presence detector next to it. Empty rooms then switch themselves off, so the client saves energy without losing comfort. Where a room later needs more functions, the same box accepts the 4-key, 6-key or 8-key version, so an upgrade costs a faceplate and an ETS download rather than new conduit.
