The ABB KNX Presence Detector 6131/40 Sky Motion watches a room and reports to the KNX bus. Because it uses passive infrared, it senses the smallest movement. So lights and climate stay on only while the room is used. As a result, the building saves energy without any effort from the user.

Presence and brightness in one

First, the detector senses presence. Then, a built-in lux sensor reads daylight. Therefore, it can run Constant Light Control. In short, the lights dim as daylight rises, and lift as it falls. The Sky Motion model uses a wide 360-degree lens for high ceilings. Moreover, it covers atriums, halls and open areas from above.

Design and mounting
